When naming the business, I was determined to capture the essense of my purpose. Being of British decent, I have always felt a connection to the Celts. I stumbled upon a Celtic goddess named Epona. In the celtic tradition, Epona, also known as “The Great Mare”, is very well known protecting and caring for all equines. She is also believed to be a leader who guided those into the afterlife. As the Roman Empire spread, Epona was so beloved by all that she was adopted into the Roman culture. The Romans often prayed to her to protect their cavalry as they entered into battle.

Epona is a honorable goddess who cares for all equines, who brings valor to those that pray to her, and whose essence has prevailed through several cultures. Hence the slogan, “Train with honor. Ride with valor. Previal like Epona.”
